Brrrrrr.....it's getting cold outside!

Here comes the winter, and needless to say it is being welcomed with groans moans and sighs; to say the least. Probably its got something to do with the fact that winter is the time when many of the members of the animal kingdom hibernate; making us feel doing the same thing. Who does not adore the ecstasy of sleeping forever under cozy blankets?

But Alas! That cannot be. So here are some exciting winter exercises, to keep you from hibernating.
 
Hula Hooping
•    Hula hooping is a great exercise for strengthening your core muscles.
•    It can actually build your abdominals better then crunches, and is easier to do too.
•    In addition to giving great tone to your abs, it massages your intestines and helps flush away all the toxic waste too
•    The most important benefits are seen on the spine; because there are very few other exercises that can increase the blood flow through your spinal cord, like this
•    It also improves your coordination and timing, while being so undemanding to do.

•    Jump roping isn't just for girls at recess or boxers anymore. You can do it too!
•    It is one of the best aerobic winter exercises that you can do.

•    Being an excellent aerobic exercise, expect to burn at least 200 calories in less than 15 minutes.

Mini Trampoline

•    Who doesn't like going on a trampoline? You get to jump and jump extremely high and feel like a woman on the moon.
•    It will help to strengthen your lower body and make you more flexible.
•    How can anyone be bored and de-motivated in the winter, while jumping up and down like crazy kids?
•    One of the best winter exercises to beat winter blues!


Stationary Bikes


•    If you have one of these exercise bikes in your house, then you are good to go.
•    Again it is a wonderful way to catch up on all your favorite TV shows, while cycling away your self to health and fitness.
•    The greatest attraction about this exercise is the convenience of cycling indoors.
•    This one is a sure shot remedy for keeping not only your abs in shape, but also to tone up your thighs, butt and legs.

Running up the Stairs


•    If you live in a two storey house, put the stairs to good use.
•    Try running up and down the stairs as many times, as your heart and legs can handle.
•    Belonging to the aerobics group of winter exercises, it’s the simplest one that anybody can do; provided they have an access to stairs

These 5 winter exercises should help you keep your abs trim and toned, not to mention getting a toned rear and legs too. So get up and get going soon, because you know; winter is not going to be here forever.
